How can renovation of buildings empower citizens and strengthen communities? This participatory lab brought together three initiatives—CLR, FORTESIE, and RENOVERTY—that place people at the heart of building renovation. Through interactive group discussions, we explored how citizen-led and community-based approaches can tackle housing poverty, energy vulnerability, and regional disparities. Participants co-developed ideas for inclusive renovation strategies that ensure everyone has the right to stay in the place they call home.
