Proud for our project to have been a participant at the Built4People partnership event hosted by Luxinnovation GIE on May 10th, 2023.
Together, we're shaping cities for a better future!
Take a look below at the related article that has been released, summarizing the main messages of this workshop.
This workshop aimed to stimulate and nurture collaboration between two major initiatives which both contribute to delivering the European Green Deal objectives:
📌 The Built4People (B4P) partnership
📌 The New European Bauhaus (NEB) initiative
It offered pitches of both B4P and NEB innovation projects; it will invite B4P and NEB stakeholders’ communities to collaborate toward an inclusive and positive built environment. The workshop supported conducting an initial brainstorming on a potential collaboration plan over 2023-2024 between B4P&NEB communities.
European Commission sets out the vision for Europe's Digital Decade by 2030 proposing the Digital Compass, that revolves around four cardinal points: Government, Infrastructures, Skills and Businesses. The Madeira's Digital Transformation Summit responds to this challenge in a forum where the EU's Digital strategy is debated to achieve the visionary objectives at European and regional levels. Bringing together recognised individualities from the European Commission, Government, Academia and Industry, The Summit sets the scene for a human-centric vision in a digital society.
Luxinnovation, the National Contact Point for Horizon Europe, invited participants to hear about the latest developments of the Luxembourg research and innovation landscape, especially in regards to the Horizon Europe programme.
During the event, a panel of successful Luxembourgish participants gave ideas and presented examples of successful Horizon Europe projects. The panel included success stories from the University of Luxembourg (SnT) and LIST as well as from Aristeng, a Luxembourg SME.
We're proud to have been part of the webinar "From Tech to Transformation: Accelerating Building Energy Efficiency through ICT Solutions" on May 16, 2024.
This event brought together the three EU projects ENERGATE Project, InEExS LIFE, and FORTESIE EU Project, showcasing cutting-edge innovations in ICT for building energy efficiency.
To achieve 2050 targets, buildings’ energy needs must be reduced massively to improve their energy performance in line with the Energy Efficiency First Principle. To that end, existing buildings need to transform into energy-efficient buildings, with a circular approach and a reduction of whole life-cycle carbon. But they also have to better answer occupants needs and account for social inclusion.
FORTESIE is thrilled to announce its participation at Citizen-Led Sustainability: Integrating Social Science into Energy Community and Building Initiatives webinar, organised by Smart Innovation Norway.
